VOTE

Voting is your right. It is also a civic responsibility, and it’s our opportunity to make sure our communities are represented by people who have our best interests at heart.

Below are tips for voting in Michigan in 2026

 

Register online or by mail with an application postmarked at least 15 days before the election. Register in-person until 8pm on Election Day at your city clerk’s office.  

Anyone can vote via absentee ballot. Request one online by November 1st at 5pm.

Or vote early in-person at your local clerk’s office beginning October 26th.

Polls open at 7am and close at 8pm, though anyone in line by 8pm has the right to vote.
