Expand Access to Affordable Healthcare
In order to ensure that everyone in Michigan not only has the access to the care they need, regardless of income, Natalie Price will:
Build on her telehealth law to ensure that doctors and patients remain in control of the method of care. Natalie is prepared to fight against insurers requiring that patients consult a telehealth provider for a referral to in-person care.
Prevent the use of AI in making determinations about health coverage.
Support maternal health equity through the Momnibus package.
Advance mental health and community-based care investments.
Address the healthcare workforce shortage through fair wages, training support, and new laws to address physical safety in the workplace.
Work to pass MiCare, a single-payer, publicly funded health care plan that would provide comprehensive, high-quality coverage to every Michigander, without deductibles, co-insurance, co-pays, or caps.
