All kids deserve fully resourced schools
It’s time to restore and repair our public schools.
Increase per-pupil classroom funding to pay for teacher salaries, supplies, and smaller class sizes.
Rebuild crumbling school infrastructure so that the building itself isn't an obstacle to learning.
Invest in teachers through tuition reimbursement, fair wages, strong healthcare and retirement benefits, and protected collective bargaining rights.
Provide every Michigan student with free school meals.
Oppose any effort to divert public school funding to private voucher programs. Public money should go to public schools, period.
Fully fund special education so districts aren't left to cover the gap when the state falls short of its duty to students with disabilities.
Fund mental health supports in every school, because kids can't learn if they're not okay.
Expand access to high-quality early childhood education and pre-K, because investments in kids pay off for everyone.
Keep politicians out of our classrooms. That means no book bans, no state interference in curriculum, and no threatening schools with funding cuts for teaching honest history or supporting every student.
