Healthcare

  • The Reproductive Health Act, legally enshrining abortion access and reproductive freedom.

  • Telemedicine Access, requiring insurers to cover telemedicine in order to expand access to healthcare across the state.

  • Check Your Heart Bill Package, promoting organ donor awareness and registration.

  • Medical debt relief, eliminating tens of millions of dollars in medical debt in Oakland County and Wayne County.

  • Banning LGBT conversion therapy for minors.

  • Requiring insurers to cover oral chemotherapy.

  • MiCare is a state-based, single-payer healthcare system that would provide universal coverage to all Michiganders without deductibles, co-insurance, co-pays, or caps on coverage amounts.

Workers Rights

Repealing the retirement tax and pension tax

  • Restoring collective bargaining, including for teachers and corrections officers

  • Restoring the prevailing wage

  • Repealing the local preemption law and bans on local project labor agreements

  • Prohibiting employers from seeking or asking about credit history or compensation history

  • Protecting employees from retaliation by ensuring anonymous reporting of wage discrimination and expanding whistleblower protections

  • Protecting employees from retaliation for disclosing information about an occupational health and safety practice, workplace hazard, or infectious disease

Voting Rights

  • Expanding access to the ballot
