Response to SCOTUS Ruling on Concealed-Carry

I am very disappointed in the Supreme Court's ruling today which is likely to lead to other challenges to gun safety laws across the country. We need to support candidates who will advocate strongly on behalf of better gun laws here in Michigan. 

Unfortunately, partisan politics seem to have taken over the Court, and with children dying every day from gun violence, individual states need to stand up and fight for what is right.

When I am in Lansing, I plan to push to pass bills that require safe storage and universal background checks. We can also ban assault weapons and enable guns to be temporarily removed from people who pose an immediate risk to themselves or others.
