NATALIE PRICE WINS DEMOCRATIC PRIMARY FOR MICHIGAN’S 5TH STATE HOUSE DISTRICT

Berkley Councilmember Price – an effective advocate for public education, environmental protections, reproductive freedom, and better gun laws – will take her experience to Lansing and focus on the issues that unite and uplift our region.

I am honored and humbled by the support of the voters. Thank you. I also want to thank the volunteers who helped make this victory possible. Lastly, I want to thank my friends and family for supporting me in this effort.

Congratulations to my opponents and their volunteers for the efforts invested in their campaigns. As proud democrats, we know that much more unites us than divides us. I hope you and your supporters will join with me in working for a win in November.

As a former teacher, a city councilmember, and a mom, my top priorities are leveling the playing field with equitable education models, supporting essential services and infrastructure by boosting municipal funding, creating intentionally inclusive communities and securing them with better gun laws, and fighting for our most basic rights including safe and legal abortion care. We are all connected, and when we work together to uplift every resident, our whole region benefits.

I look forward to serving the residents of the district, no matter where they live or who they voted for. We rise up together.
